In Kochin, More than 2000 restaurants and hotels associated with KHRA (Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association) refused to work with the significant food apps Swiggy, Uber Eats & Zomato.
The reason is GST & Commission. They are saying food apps are taking 30% commision & then GST 18%; After that, we saved a tiny order amount.
KHRA said, 30% commission is very high. According to the voice person & news, this ban has become stronger in the coming day. Other stated will also join this ban soon.
Few news resources confirming that ban working but some saying it's not working. People are placing orders regularly from those restaurants which are not with this Ban.
This all starts with "AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FOOD AGGREGATORS OF INDIA."
